INSPECTIONS
California Mold performs inspections only.

We are not a remediation or treatment company. We have no vested interest in finding mold that would require expensive treatment. We do not receive sales commissions from remediation companies. We perform professional, industry standard inspections using only engineers who are Certified Mold Inspectors. We will recommend remediation only when it is really required.

If remediation is required, we will refer you to a qualified professional remediation company that we have personally reviewed. California Mold will write a remediation Scope of Work that will guide the remediation company, so that you will only pay for the treatment you actually need.

SERVICES
A typical residential inspection consists of the following:
-Visually inspect the property for signs of water intrusion and mold growth.
-Measure moisture in the air (Humidity)
-Measure moisture in the walls, ceilings etc. to locate any sources of mold growth
-Take swab samples of any visible mold, or if no visible mold is present
-Take air samples in areas of concern. A standard inspection would be two indoor air samples and one outdoor sample. The outdoor sample establishes a reference or baseline for normal mold levels in an area, that are then compared to the indoor samples.
FEES
Price for three sample mold testing is $625.00, This includes lab fees for the sample analysis. A typical house, up to 1500 sq ft, can be covered with a three sample inspection.
Price for a single room inspection is $500.00, including lab fees for a two sample analysis.
For larger houses or commercial properties, the number of samples will vary. Additional samples after the first 3 are charged at the rate of $125 each.
Turnaround time for sample analysis by a certified lab is 24 working hours.
Same day reports are available at extra cost.
